Lauren Acheson

Bio

Lauren Acheson is a queer artist and technician based in Mohkinstsis, Treaty 7 Territory. They wear a lot of hats, including (but not limited to) lighting technician, set designer, arena ground rigger, stage manager (mostly for the Calgary Philharmonic), technical director, stage carpenter, and emergency sound tech. They can usually be found around the Jack Singer Concert Hall, where they are a regular casual in the stage and lighting departments, or zipping along the Bow River Pathway on their bike. They had such a lovely time working on this show back in 2022 and they’re delighted to see it continuing to grow and evolve.
