Louisa Zhu

Bio

Louisa is an actor, performance combat artist, and a Vice President of ACTRA Toronto. She is a Certified Fight Instructor with Fight Directors Canada and also served as their Director of Training for 4 years. Louisa teaches on faculty at George Brown College’s Theatre School and Acting for Media Program, as well as Rapier Wit. Selected credits include: AS FIGHT DIRECTOR- Hilot Means Healer (Cahoots Theatre/b.current performing arts), A Blow in the Face (Nightwood Theatre/Bald Ego Theatre), Yellow Rabbit (Soulpepper/Silk Bath Collective); AS PERFORMER: Lady Sunrise (Factory Theatre), The Silver Arrow (Citadel Theatre), Reflector (Theatre Gargantua), Sex Tape Project (fu-GEN). Louisa can also be heard voicing one of the lead characters on the new animated series Transformers: BotBots on Netflix, and seen as a regular on the mini-series Rising Suns.
