Malia Rogers (she/her)

For Theatre Gargantua: debut. Selected theatre credits: The Argyle Street Kitchen Party (Neptune Theatre); Terminally Ill (Undercurrents Festival); Selah’s Song (Theatre of the Beat); co-creator of Trainwreck (Ottawa Fringe). Malia Rogers is a Nova Scotian singer-songwriter, actor, theatre creator, arts administrator and multi-instrumentalist who divides her time between Ottawa, Toronto and Halifax. She holds degrees in theatre & performance studies from Acadia University and York University, and will never stop thinking about how theatre can help shape kinder and more compassionate futures. Malia is a touring musician and an active member of Ottawa-based folk trio Jessica Pearson & The East Wind.
