Reid Janisse
Bio
Reid Janisse (he/him) is a Toronto based actor/writer/director with a love for improvisation. He is an alumnus of The Second City, where he wrote and performed in several Canadian Comedy Award winning mainstage revues. In the world of musical improv, he has performed with the troupe Songbuster and in the show One Night Only: The Greatest Musical Never Written. He had a blast writing and performing in several Ross Petty Pantos at the Elgin Theatre, including Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. Recent theatre: Halfway There (Orillia Opera House), They’re Found in Trees (Theatre Orangeville), My Hero (Port Stanley Festival Theatre), Toronto Circus Riot (LookUp Theatre). Selected TV: Murdoch Mysteries, The Boys, American Gods, Private Eyes, Orphan Black and Odd Squad. Reid regularly performs in the Toronto improv scene, but you probably recognize him from his insurance, gambling or hamburger ads.
