Bio

Zoe Marín (she/her) is an Argentine-American theatre artist and comedian. She recently directed GRINGAS (First Born Theatre), which won Patron’s Pick at Toronto Fringe and Critics’ Pick at Hamilton Fringe, and was featured in the Toronto Star’s Top 10 productions of 2024. She then directed a staged reading of GRINGAS for Aluna Theatre’s RUTAS Festival. Other directing credits: Souffle (Theatre of the Beat/ Glitter Pop Productions), Internet Sensation (Paprika Theatre Festival), Thistlepatch (Alumnae Theatre). Assistant directing credits: What the Constitution Means to Me (Soulpepper Theatre/ Nightwood Theatre), 1184 (Phoenix Arts Productions/ Aga Khan). Zoe is the Artistic Producer of  ‘First Born Theatre Company’, Co-Creator of sketch-troupe  ‘Small Friend Tall Friend’, and Marketing Coordinator at ‘Native Earth Performing Arts’. This summer, she will be directing KILLY WILLY (First Born Theatre) at the Toronto Fringe Festival!
